Two fatalities in demolition accident

Two people died during the demolition of a multistory building on Friday afternoon, a local news portal reported. The accident occurred when the building, in Jiading district, was being demolished and fell onto a neighboring hotel, trapping an unknown number of people, according to a report by Xinmin.cn. Four people had been rescued from rubble as of 8:38 pm, but two of them died on the way to hospital, the report said.
