Man held over sisters’ deaths

Police arrested on Friday a 39-year-old man who is suspected of killing two Chinese sisters who went missing in Kanagawa early this month and dumping their bodies. Ryuya Iwasaki remained silent. On July 13, the bodies of the two sisters — Chen Baolan, 25, and Chen Baozhen, 22 — were found. They were strangled to death. Security camera in the sisters’ apartment showed that a man looking like Iwasaki got in their room on July 6 and moved out two suitcases on July 7.
