Jiangsu hosting school tournament

The National Handball Championship for primaryschool students kicked off on Thursday in Jinhu county, Jiangsu province.

The seven-day tournament saw a record participation of 939 athletes from 75 teams vying for honors.

Zhang Zhiyong, party chief of Jinhu county, revealed plans to turn the county into a national handball training base. Last year, the national championship for high-school students was also held in Jinhu.
