Yantai center first of its kind across the country

The China Yantai Intellectual Property Protection Center started its patent preliminary examination service on Dec 30, becoming one of the nation’s first such protection centers to start operation. The Yantai center is China’s first citylevel IP protection center to be unveiled by the State Intellectual Property Office. Focusing on the modern food industry, it will combine the functions of patent examination, protection, mediation and law enforcement, aiming to reduce the cost and improve the efficiency of rights protection.
