People: Chinese U19 soccer star wins Florida scholarship

It is no easy task for a young soccer player to reap laurels in both the classroom and on the field, but Zhao Yujie, a member of China women’s national under-19 soccer team, has achieved both. She was admitted to Florida State University in the United States on a full scholarship and just set off on her new journey on Jan 2. As a member of China’s U19 and Shanghai’s U18 team, Zhao was a member of the teams that won the 2014 Nanjing Youth Olympic Games and the U18 competition in the 2017 National Games in Tianjin.
