Shanghai Dianrong effects executive reshuffle
Shanghai Dianrong Financial Information Services Co Ltd, China’s peer-to-peer or P2P lending platform, has effected a reshuffle of senior executives. Soul Htite, founder and former CEO, was appointed executive chairman. Kevin Guo, co-founder and co-CEO, was appointed co-chairman. Long Hsiang Loh, former COO, was promoted to CEO. Htite said that the decision to hand over the daily operational responsibilities to a new CEO was for Dianrong’s business growth. Before joining Dianrong, Loh had 20 years of experience with Standard Chartered Bank. Liz Wang to lead Rothschild Advisory in China
Rothschild Global Advisory, a division of leading financial advisory group Rothschild and Co, appointed former Morgan Stanley executive Elizabeth Wang as the head of its office in China. Rothschild said late last month that Wang would be in charge of advising clients on their financial and strategic transactions. Wang has 20 years of experience in investment banking. Before she joined Rothschild, she was the managing director and head of Hong Kong branch of Morgan Stanley. Wang Jian now director of Secoo Holding
Secoo Holding Ltd, an online shopping platform for high-end products and integrated upscale services, announced on Dec 20 the appointment of Wang Jian as an independent director. Wang was also appointed a member of the board and the chairman of its compensation committee. Li Rixue, chairman and CEO of Secoo, said Wang’s extensive experience in business operations in China’s retail industry will help Secoo in its business transformation. Online streaming service provider Leshi Internet Information and Technology Corp announced on Dec 21 the appointment of Liu Shuqing (pictured) as its CEO. Liu earlier served as an executive with property developer Sunac China Holdings Ltd. Since 2010, Liu has been serving as Sunac’s general manager for risk control and management. Starting August 2017, Liu has been working as senior vice-president at Leshi and has been in charge of human resources, legal, and finance, after Sunac provided Leshi a new round of investment worth 15.04 billion yuan ($2.28 billion) and became Leshi’s second-largest shareholder. Zhu takes charge as Accenture chairman
Consulting and outsourcing service provider Accenture Plc appointed Zhu Wei as chairman of Accenture China, effective Jan 1. Gianfranco Casati, Accenture’s group chief executive, said Zhu’s experience in management consulting, private equity, investment banking and industry management, made him a perfect fit for the position. Prior to joining Accenture, Zhu worked at CVC Capital Partners Ltd and Goldman Sachs Gao Hua Securities Ltd as managing director.
