High-protein meal at breakfast key to weight loss
Australian scientists have found that consuming a high-protein breakfast could be the key to weight loss. In a new diet program released last week, the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization recommended shifting as much protein consumption to the first meal of the day as possible. The team found that protein consumption is currently skewed toward evening meals, with women ingesting an average of 11 grams of protein at breakfast compared to the male average of 15 grams.
