High-protein meal at breakfast key to weight loss

Australian scientists have found that consuming a high-protein breakfast could be the key to weight loss. In a new diet program released last week, the Commonweal­th Scientific and Industrial Research Organizati­on recommende­d shifting as much protein consumptio­n to the first meal of the day as possible. The team found that protein consumptio­n is currently skewed toward evening meals, with women ingesting an average of 11 grams of protein at breakfast compared to the male average of 15 grams.
