Garuda planning more connections to China

Indonesia’s state-run airline Garuda Indonesia is planning to operate more flights linking Bali to the Chinese cities of Zhengzhou and Xi’an later this month, an airline official said. The addition of more flights would add to Garuda’s existing services directly connecting Bali with several cities in China. “The opening of the new routes was part of the firm’s continuing efforts to maximize the potentialities from the highly promising Chinese tourism market,” said Sigit Muhartono, the Garuda Indonesia official in charge of international route development.
