Course to boost charity awareness

The China Global Philanthropy Institute announced on March 10 the opening of its first East China nonprofit management class. The class expects to annually recruit 60-80 students. Curriculum design will emphasize a balance between theoretical study and practical learning, and will follow the needs of local philanthropies as they develop. The institute also announced the establishment of a scholarship fund sponsored by 12 of its alumni.
