Cavs, Sixers sign first-round picks
The Cleveland Cavaliers announced on Wednesday they have signed No 8 overall pick Collin Sexton.
The Cavs didn’t reveal terms, but spotrac.com reported it as a two-year, $8.33 million deal with two club options totaling $11.34 million to follow. That would allow Sexton to earn $19.67 million over four seasons.
The 19-year-old Sexton, a point guard, averaged 19.2 points in his lone college season at Alabama.
In Philadelphia, the 76ers announced they have signed first-round pick Landry Shamet out of Wichita State. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
