2 accused of heroin trafficking

Police in Yunnan province have detained two people suspected of trafficking around 12.7 kg of heroin, local authorities said. On June 30, the Changning county police received a tip that two drug dealers were planning to transport drugs from Gengma county into Kunming, Yunnan. A task force was immediately set up to investigate the case. Police arrested two suspects on July 1 in Gengma and seized 32 bricks of heroin from their vehicle.
