Forestry sector output value shows gains

The total output value of China’s forestry industry exceeded 7.1 trillion yuan ($1.1 trillion) in 2017, compared with just 134 billion yuan in 1994, the National Forestry and Grassland Administration said. Trade volume of forestry products reached $150 billion last year, officials from the administration said during the three-day Eco Forum Global Annual Conference that closed in Southwest China’s Guizhou province on Sunday.
