Court encourages local innovation

The Nanchang Intellectual Property Court was set up on July 5. It’s the province’s first specialized court for IP cases and one of 16 Chinese IP courts. The court will cover first hearings of civil and administrative cases on areas including patents, technical secrets and new varieties of plants in Jiangxi. The court’s founding is an important measure to serve and guarantee Jiangxi’s innovative development, the court’s representatives said.
