Philanthro­pist dies at 99

Tian Jiabing, also known as Tin Ka Ping, an entreprene­ur and philanthro­pist who lived in Hong Kong, died on Tuesday at the age of 99. He founded the Tin Ka Ping Foundation, which mainly focuses on education, in Hong Kong in 1982. The foundation has sponsored 93 universiti­es, 166 middle and senior high schools, and 41 primary schools in China.
