Af­ter re­ceiv­ing her awards in Yan­tai, Nene trav­eled to Bei­jing to par­tic­i­pate in a food fes­ti­val held at Vil­lage Café. For her first time cook­ing for Chi­nese peo­ple, she chose a menu made of mod­ern­ized tra­di­tional South African dishes.
