The use of so-called “naturalized players” is nothing but another manifestation of national team’s pursuit of “quick success.”

At present, the reality is that most people want to gain the maximum benefit in the shortest possible time and at the minimum cost. If the introduction of foreign players or naturalized players can achieve this goal, they have no interest in investing more time, efforts and money in youth training.

From my perspective, I think we should focus on training our own indigenous young football players. The youth is our future. However, some people can’t wait. They want short-term and quick returns. And another reason why they don’t pay attention to youth training is that it’s a long and arduous process. The future is full of many variables and uncertainties. Only “gambling” can achieve the desired results in a short time. As for the problems created by “gambling,” it is not the concern of the policymakers. This could also sadly be the case of the national men’s football team, and naturalizing players is a result of such thinking. sports athletes is that they should set an example and lead the society. But unfortunately, what we see is just a deal.

Moreover, one of the original intentions of naturalization is to lead the local players to improve their level. However, in fact, the number of athletes participating in a sports event is strictly limited. It is true that naturalizing foreign players will greatly improve the level of the men’s football team and their competitiveness in the international arena in a short time, but it will also result in too many naturalized players in a team, which will definitely lead to a sharp reduction in the growing space for indigenous players.
