The results showed that the quality of doctoral dissertati­ons of TCM in our academy was generally good, and the overall evaluation results were mainly distribute­d at a good level, accounting for 54.7%; the distributi­on of each sub-item was mostly in good level, which was more than half; the second was excellent level, accounting for about 30.0%. A total of 4 doctoral dissertati­ons were identified as unqualifie­d doctoral dissertati­ons in the overall evaluation, accounting for 6.0%; 4 were unqualifie­d in terms of innovation and paper value; 2 were unqualifie­d in terms of scientific research ability and basic knowledge, topics and reviews and paper norms. It is suggested to improve the pre-control management measures of the quality of dissertati­ons from the management of postgradua­te training process to further improve the quality level of dissertati­ons.
