Raffles Grand Hotel d’Angkor, Siem Reap

Opened in 1932, the handsome colonial building that houses Raffles’ 131 rooms is only outshone by the six hectares of gardens that ring it. Despite numerous updates, original features remain including wrought-iron elevator doors, black-and-white marble floors, and Khmer furniture. An added bonus is its proximity to the Angkor ruins, less than 10 kilometers away.
