Nature and Zen-like relaxation are the hallmarks of ABBA

Resorts Izu, which stands on the Izu Peninsula just two hours by train from Tokyo. Tucked away in a secluded forest setting, its 19 Japanese- style suites come with cypress hot spring baths, while 11 villas all feature a private pool and outdoor onsen. Guests can also unwind at the on-site spa, indulge in Japanese and French cuisine, and join traditiona­l tea and incense ceremonies. On the hotel’s doorstep, the Zagyosoh Art Gallery displays several rare antique swords, among them a “living national treasure.” Valid from July to December 2017, the prize is for a four-night stay in a ABBA Villa Suite, with blackout dates between August 12-16 and December 28-31.
