Ten agreements between China, the US
Beef:
China will allow imports of US beef no later than July 16.
Banking:
The US remains committed to treating Chinese banks the same way as other foreign banks.
Biotechnology:
China will evaluate US biotechnology products with pending applications and either approve them, or be transparent about why the products don’t pass a safety test.
Electronic payment services:
China will take steps that lead to market access for US-owned Source:xxx suppliers of electronic payment services.
Settlement licenses:
China will issue bond underwriting and settlement licenses to two qualified US financial institutions.
Business investment summit:
The US will send delegates to China’s Belt and Road forum held in Beijing on Sunday and Monday. It will welcome Chinese participation in a US investor summit.
Credit rating services:
China will allow foreign-owned financial services firms to provide credit rating services.
Cooked poultry:
The US will begin to formulate rules that allow imports of cooked poultry from China.
Natural gas:
China can negotiate all types of contracts, including long-term import of natural gas.
Cross-border clearing:
China’s central bank and the US Commodity Futures Trading Commission will work toward an agreement on the oversight of crossborder clearing.
