Dongfeng Honda will recall a total of 21,150 vehicles due to potential fire hazards and defective three- way valves, according to Chinese regulators.

One round of recalls, which is set to begin on March 31, affects 20,420 Civic sedans manufactur­ed between December 8, 2016 and January 18, 2017, said a statement from China’s General Administra­tion of Quality Supervisio­n, Inspection and Quarantine.

Another part of the recall, which began on Wednesday, involves 730 Murano vehicles produced between July 16, 2013 and February 6, 2016, another statement from the quality regulator noted.
