GE

GE signed three commercial deals worth $3.5 billion with Chinese partners in Beijing during US President Donald Trump’s first official visit to China.

The deals include a deal with Juneyao Airlines, a subsidiary of Juneyao Group and ICBC Leasing.

Juneyao Airlines reached an agreement with GE for the order of GEnx-1B engines to power its 10 Boeing 787-9 aircraft.

The engine order is valued at $1.4 billion at list price and includes a 15-year TrueChoice-TM Overhaul agreement with GE Aviation for the time and material needed to repair and overhaul these engines.

The aircraft will first be delivered in 2018.

ICBC Leasing, a wholly owned subsidiary of ICBC Group, the largest commercial bank in the world, also reached an agreement with CFM International for the order of 80 LEAP-1B engines to power 40 Boeing 737 MAX aircraft. The engine order is valued at nearly $1.1 billion at list price.

Honeywell

Honeywell said on Thursday that its suite of advanced cockpit technologies and industryleading auxiliary power units has been selected by China’s Spring Airlines for its future fleet of Airbus A320neo aircraft.

Honeywell’s technology will provide Spring Airlines with cost savings as well as safer and more efficient flight operations, helping the lowcost carrier grow its business across Asia. The deal is part of an agreement reached when US President Donald Trump visited China this week.

Bell Helicopter

Bell Helicopter, a subsidiary of Textron, signed a contract with Reignwood International Investment Group Co on Wednesday after agreeing to purchase an additional 50 Bell 505s, making Reignwood the exclusive reseller for the Bell 505 in China and the establisher of a Bell 505 delivery and maintenance center.

The new contract follows previous purchase agreements signed earlier this year with Reignwood for 60 Bell 505s, bringing the group’s total to 110 Bell 505 aircraft.

The signing was witnessed by US Secretary of Commerce Wilbur Ross as part of President Trump’s trade mission to China.
