Chinese man guzzles down 50 raw eggs on a bet
Video of a Chinese man drinking 50 raw eggs within minutes on a 2,000-yuan ($250) bet went viral on Thursday.
The middle-aged man guzzled down the eggs cracked into a metal basin as a group egged him on at what appears to be a grocery store.
One of the men holds up a wad of cash in front of him and yells “finish 50 eggs you got 2,000 yuan,” according to the 60-second clip uploaded Wednesday.
Besides a high dose of protein, it was not reported if the man actually received the cash.
The video has been viewed more than 3.3 million times on miaopai.com as of press time.
The internet made the usual cracks. “His burps will smell like chicken crap,” read one popular comment by Sina Weibo user “yincai.”
“This guy probably really needs the money,” wrote another netizen.
“Just watching made me sick,” said another.
