The National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) will announce the consumer price index (CPI) for December on Wednesday. It will also announce the producer price index (PPI) for the month.

The CPI rose 1.7 percent year-on-year in November, slightly down from October’s 1.9 percent, while the PPI rose 5.8 percent, according to the NBS.
