Welcoming migrants

Members of the Spanish NGO Proactiva Open Arms place a lifejacket on the statue of Christopher Columbus in Barcelona on Wednesday, when the NGO’s ship, which arrived with 60 migrants on board, was rescued as it tried to cross the Mediterranean from Libya, after Italy and Malta refused access.
