Upcoming media schedule for Rocket Girls 101 leaked
The upcoming media appearance schedule for Rocket Girls 101, the newly founded girl group formed by top 11 winners selected from the Chinese idol-producing reality show Produce 101, was apparently leaked on Sina Weibo on Tuesday, according to Chinese media reports.
According to the leak, which has yet to be verified, Rocket Girls 101 will appear on Friday’s episode of Keep Running, a reality show starring famous Chinese pop stars such as Angela Chang, Jason Zhang and Lin Junjie. Then Rocket Girls will hold two conferences, one on July 11 for their official debut and another on July 12 for the release of their first single.
On July 24, the band will appear on Happy Camp, a popular variety show produced by the Hunan Broadcasting System.
Throughout August the band will hold events where they can meet with fans and will appear on another variety show Coming One.
In September, the three top winners of Produce 101, Meng Meiqi, Wu Xuanyi and Yang Chaoyue, will appear on the variety show First Lesson, produced by CCTV.
That same month, the band will release another single and start shooting online drama Girl’s Dormitory, which is scheduled to air in 2019.
In October, Rocket Girls will release their first EP, and will begin preparations for their first live concert, the date of which was not revealed in the leak.
