LAVISH LAYERS
Who said neutrals had to mean pared back? Lori added layers and texture through upholstery, wallcoverings, sumptuous rugs and colourful accessories and cushions.
Lori’s grandfather used on his storefront in the 1940s. Long after the store closed down, Lori’s husband nabbed the letter from the abandoned building and gave it to her as a birthday gift. Many other pieces were purchased from favourite boutiques and galleries, or stumbled upon in antique shops.
Lori describes her aesthetic as "layered, nuanced, rooted in tradition but interpreted in a modern way". Not only does her home exemplify her style, but it’s also evidence that the best pieces to surround yourself with are those imbued in meaning and personality.
