It’s easy to see why Minotti’s Tape collection of seats is so named: each piece features design elements stuck onto it, the brainchild of Oki Sato, founder and director of Japanese design studio Nendo and self-professed design addict. The collection, which features an armchair with or without armrests, a lounge armchair, a bergère, two and three seater sofas as well as an ottoman, showcases Nendo’s paredback aesthetic and elegant palette, and its gentle subversion of the status quo, with the supporting legs placed outside the structure instead of hidden underneath.
