Favourite city?
Definitely New York City. I’ve called New York home for over 10 years of my life. Every New Yorker has a love-hate relationship with the city—love the people and culture, hate the subway and passing through Times Square. I always find myself missing New York.
Favourite place at home?
When I designed my apartment, I put the most effort into the master bathroom. With emeraldcoloured walls and brass and marble accents, it’s a very cosy place. Winding down with a relaxing bath after a long day is my favourite activity at home.
Favourite hotel?
My husband and I like to explore nicely designed hotels when we travel abroad. The effortlessly chic Nobis Hotel in Copenhagen and Le Roch in Paris are among our favourites.
Favourite book?
I like to pick up selfimprovement books. I’ve recently finished reading Talk Like Ted by Carmine Gallo. It’s a good book for people who are looking to improve their public speaking.
Favourite museum?
MOMA and the Guggenheim in New York are never void of interesting exhibitions.
Favourite holiday destination?
It’s difficult to name just one but I think it’s hard to beat the charm and beauty of the south of France. Great food, perfect scenery, small towns to explore, exciting outdoor activities, sun and beaches: what more can you ask for?
Favourite restaurant?
I love authentic, hole-in-thewall places. Ciccio is the best kept secret in New York. It’s a little Italian restaurant in a basement that transports you to Tuscany with its fabulous pasta dishes. The Flatiron Room, also in New York, is my favourite jazz bar with its amazing cocktails and music. It’s perfect for an intimate night out.
