Femmes du Vin Asia, a community that promotes appreciation of wine among women via networking and educational events, hosted its first charity dinner at the Island Shangri-la. In partnership with the Women’s Foundation and Women Helping Women Hong Kong, Femmes du Vin Asia raised HK$400,000 to fund a video to raise awareness of the objectification of women and girls in the media. Esther Ma presided over a live auction that saw spirited bidding. The guests included Su-mei Thompson, Mahnaz Lee, Sharie Tse, Arthur de Villepin and Sally Chan.
