Finally arriving on shelves this month is the highly anticipated fragrance from the house of Burberry. Inspired by the brand’s iconic trench coat, My Burberry is a nostalgic scent with a beautiful bouquet of freesias, geraniums, and Damascus and centifolia roses, as well as sparkling notes of citrus and golden quince with a spicy injection of pepper. From the button-like stopper to the honey-beige ribbon around its neck, the scent certainly pays homage to the classic design.
“Because My Burberry is the first and only fragrance to draw its inspiration so directly from the Burberry trench coat, it has to be the true embodiment of our brand—in scent, in design and in attitude,” says Christopher Bailey, Burberry’s CEO and chief creative officer, who personally helped design the perfume.
