What a piece of skirt

Plenty of designers are playing a flirty game with peek-a-boo skirt styles. Prabal Gurung (top) balances boxy, oversized knit sweaters with draped skirts in sheer silk for a new figure-flattering silhouette. Chitose Abe at Sacai (right) and Fausto Puglisi at Emanuel Ungaro (centre) follow suit with similar slit styles in dresses and skirts in leather and pleated sheer silk. For footwear, open-toe sandals are the shoe of choice (if the weather permits) but boots also make a strong statement.
