HELEN MOLESWORTH

With an extensive background in gemmology and art history, Helen began her career in the jewellery industry after graduating from Oxford University. She qualified as a Fellow of the Gemmological Association of Great Britain with Distinction, and a fascinating career as a jewellery specialist in international auctions followed, as she worked at Sotheby’s and then Christie’s in London and Geneva for more than 10 years. In 2011, Helen left Christie’s to set up her own jewellery advisory business, sourcing for clients and researching private collections. At the same time she became Professeur de l’histoire de Bijoux et Gemmologie in Geneva. She is currently the managing director of the Gübelin Academy in Hong Kong which shares the company’s knowledge about gemstones with a passionate and practical approach.
