Gordon Ramsay WAS ALL SMILES FOR THE LAUNCH OF HIS HONG KONG RESTAURANT
Rather than an angry clanging of saucepans and string of invective, notoriously caustic celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay opened his first Hong Kong venture, Breadstreet Kitchen & Bar, with a warm, witty speech and ribbon-cutting ceremony embellished with a lion dance and a performance by Chinese instrumentalists. Guests at the Lan Kwai Fong Tower premises, among them Aron Harilela, Allan Zeman and Caroline Roberts, enjoyed a fantastic selection of dishes, such as tamarind spiced chicken wings, sea bass carpaccio and warm beetroot tart, straight from the chef ’s renowned London menu.
