TAYLOR’S VINTAGE PORT, PORTUGAL 1994

This is one of my all-time favourites; I remember tasting it from the barrel and being in awe. It’s just starting to come around now. Very, very intense, with a sour cherry and citrus character, a touch of slate and lots of violet. It’s full-bodied, medium-sweet with wild fruit and hints of lemon. Shows a creamy and refined tannin texture.
