“This paint­ing is a jux­ta­po­si­tion of the old and the new. Here, the tra­di­tional ink-throw­ing tech­nique is com­ple­mented by dig­i­tal el­e­ments such as the con­struc­tion of geo­met­ric and bro­ken lines, which don’t ex­ist in tra­di­tional Chi­nese paint­ings.”
