Belle Époque shangliu tatler ball

Shangliu Tatler hosted its annual ball, which was also a celebration of its 12th anniversary, at the Pudong Shangri-la, East Shanghai, with more than 300 guests from all over China in attendance. Old and new friends arrived from across the nation for one of the most brilliant and highly anticipated social events of Shanghai’s year. With the theme La Belle Époque, the Tatler Ball kicked-off with a dance performance followed by two short films—one commemorating some of Shangliu Tatler’s most memorable moments over the past 12 years, and one celebrating some of the magazine’s top cover stars. Apart from the excellent food and wine, the highlight of the evening was the presentation of the Tatler Awards. As per tradition, the magazine presented six awards to some of the country’s most deserving people in honour of their great achievements throughout 2014, as well as their support of Shangliu Tatler over the years. After the presentation, guests stood for a toast and then ventured onto the dance floor as the music turned from soft and sophisticated to brisk and upbeat, thanks to live entertainment provided by the Old Jazz Band. The after-party started early and lasted well into the night as guests danced the evening away.
