COAST TO COAST

Prolific local artist Paul Chiang speaks to Taiwan Tatler following the publication of his new book, From Paris’s Left Bank to Taitung’s Pisilian: The Story of an Artist, Paul Chiang. After graduating from the fine arts department of National Taiwan Normal University, Chiang spent time in Paris and New York before moving back to Taiwan, where he found inspiration in the eastern county of Taitung. His work, which includes sculptures and landscapes, is coveted by many major art collectors.
