The expansion plans of this month’s cover star, The Mall Group vice-chairwoman Supaluck Umpujh, has Bangkok set to become the Paris of Asia. Her firm, one of the driving forces behind Siam Paragon, is developing The Em District on Sukhumvit Road. One part of the property, luxury mall Emporium, was renovated and reopened last year, and March saw the unveiling of another section, the luxury retail complex Em Quartier.
