magine dragons were an unassuming alt-rock band that gained a grassroots following through live shows before exploding on the international scene with the 2012 hit single Radioactive, which won two Grammy Awards and was lauded by Rolling Stone as the “biggest rock hit of the year.” Now, the band is blazing a trail across the US, Asia, Australia and Europe with the Smoke and Mirrors tour. Hailing from Las Vegas, the four members began playing together as university students in 2008 and have become well known for infectiously innovative tunes such as It’s Time, Warriors, Battle Cry and I Bet My Life. Along with the aforementioned Grammys, Imagine Dragons were named “the year’s biggest breakout band” by MTV in 2013 and were nominated for 14 Billboard Music Awards in 2014.
