Alt-rock group Imag­ine Dragons touch down in Hong Kong for their Smoke and Mir­rors tour

mag­ine dragons were an unas­sum­ing alt-rock band that gained a grass­roots fol­low­ing through live shows be­fore ex­plod­ing on the in­ter­na­tional scene with the 2012 hit sin­gle Ra­dioac­tive, which won two Grammy Awards and was lauded by Rolling Stone as the “big­gest rock hit of the year.” Now, the band is blaz­ing a trail across the US, Asia, Aus­tralia and Europe with the Smoke and Mir­rors tour. Hail­ing from Las Ve­gas, the four mem­bers be­gan play­ing to­gether as univer­sity stu­dents in 2008 and have be­come well known for in­fec­tiously in­no­va­tive tunes such as It’s Time, War­riors, Bat­tle Cry and I Bet My Life. Along with the afore­men­tioned Gram­mys, Imag­ine Dragons were named “the year’s big­gest break­out band” by MTV in 2013 and were nom­i­nated for 14 Bill­board Mu­sic Awards in 2014.
