CHANG­ING YOUNG LIVES FOUN­DA­TION’S FES­TI­VAL OF TREES

A beau­ti­ful gar­den was cre­ated in the grand ball­room of the Con­rad Hong Kong for the Fes­ti­val of Trees char­ity din­ner, the sig­na­ture event of the Chang­ing Young Lives Foun­da­tion to raise funds for its pro­grammes for un­der­priv­i­leged chil­dren. Themed “Gar­den of Hope,” the din­ner was or­gan­ised by com­mit­tee co-chairs Jane Chao-lee and Angie Ting, with Guer­lain as the ti­tle spon­sor. Singer Linda Wong put on a won­der­ful per­for­mance. The high­light of the live auc­tion was a clas­sic Old Master Q four-square comic strip, for which the win­ning bid­der was Joseph Wong. The pro­ceeds of the evening will go to­wards fund­ing the daily de­vel­op­men­tal, ed­u­ca­tional, par­tic­i­pa­tion and pro­tec­tion pro­grammes at the foun­da­tion’s Madam TY Wong Cen­tre in Sham Shui Po. So­cialites present at the din­ner in­cluded Ivan Ting, Sab­rina Chiu, Jac­que­line Chow and Daisy Ye­ung.
