Lyn­d­hurst Ter­race is soon to be home to Tar­tine, a chic new bistro which will serve French openfaced sand­wiches crafted from the finest in­gre­di­ents, such as foie gras, bur­rata and truf­fles. The eatery is a part­ner­ship be­tween Arthur de Villepin, co-founder of the Pont Des Arts wine la­bel and head of pho­to­graphic stu­dio Yel­lowkorner, and chef Philippe Or­rico, the man be­hind On Din­ing Kitchen and Up­per Mod­ern Bistro. The menu will also in­clude de­lec­ta­ble smaller morsels for those who are averse to bread. De Villepin, the son of for­mer French prime min­is­ter Do­minique de Villepin, has lived in Hong Kong since 2010 and has also be­come a key player in the city’s arts com­mu­nity.
