NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM
Fendi fans and VIPS from around Asia gathered in Tokyo to get a glimpse of the Haute Fourrure collection, which was flown over from Rome for the runway show. Afterwards, invited guests attended a glamorous after-party at the striking Gallery of Horyuji Treasures—a building in the Tokyo National Museum complex designed by Yoshio Taniguchi, the architect famed for his redesign of New York’s Museum of Modern Art. DJ Mademoiselle Yulia entertained the crowd with her mix of the latest tunes, and guests, including celebrities such as model-actress Rila Fukushima, were invited to take a closer look at the runway pieces in a second-floor gallery. Collaged capes in sheared mink, lush lynx coats and feather-embellished sable jackets were neatly displayed on rows of mannequins, making for a spectacular sight to end the night.
