Lucia Tait Tolani, the founder of invitation-only personal styling service Pair and the former senior stylist at Moda Operandi, shares her big plans for the fashion set of Hong Kong

n just a few short months after relocating to Hong Kong from New York City, it’s pretty amazing how quickly Lucia Tait Tolani has settled in. What’s been her take on the local fashion scene so far? “It’s great; women here are so well dressed, and incredibly up-to-date with the latest trends,” she says. “But there are still a lot of new labels you can’t find here.” She makes a fair point—and has a solution: “I recently launched my new business, Pair, which offers women the opportunit­y to meet and learn about emerging designers.” Pair is an invite-only style consulting agency, Tait Tolani explains. “We will host exclusive Hong Kong trunk shows and shopping events with internatio­nal designers in partnershi­p with Threads, a London-founded personal shopping agency.
