The most crucial aspect when it comes to emeralds is the green hue. Vivid green is most preferred, with lots of depth—not too dark, nor too pale, and evenly distributed throughout the stone. Do keep in mind, however, that emeralds of different origins have distinctive colours; at the end of the day, it will all depend on your personal preference.
