Louis Vuitton’s latest collection of high jewellery, Acte V: The Escape, draws inspiration from the height of the grand period of luxurious oceanic travel—the 1930s. Pieces incorporate colours from the sea, as well as the shapes and geometric lines of the architectural style known as streamline moderne, which emphasises curves and long, sweeping lines.
