Bright as a pearl
As Caroline Li pursues a career in food writing and critiquing, she turns to La Prairie to keep her skin looking firm and nourished for events
Growing up, all of Caroline Li’s favourite books from her childhood were about food—such as Eric Carle’s classic The Very Hungry Caterpillar—which eventually grew into a passion for food and wine and further studies at the famed Le Cordon Bleu culinary institute in San Francisco.
“I’m a Californian girl at heart and San Francisco is now considered one of the best food cities in the US, so to enroll at the Le Cordon Bleu there is a natural choice,” says Caroline. “Apart from furthering my culinary skills and knowledge, I had the opportunity to gain work experience at some of the city’s top restaurants, such as the Italian restaurant Quince that has two Michelin stars.”
Caroline now divides her time between being a food columnist for Hongkongtatler.com, where her articles will be available soon, and documenting photos and reviews of popular restaurants on her food-related Instagram account @cazzfoodjournal. In between reviewing restaurants, Caroline attends various events around town when she can and relies on La Prairie’s Skin Caviar Collection to keep her complexion looking firm and nourished.

Maybe that’s part of the reason why I was drawn to La Prairie’s Skin Caviar Collection in the first place,” says Caroline with a laugh.
