evin poon’s pop­u­lar Ele­phant Grounds cafe con­cept con­tin­ues mak­ing waves across the city, with the fourth branch open­ing this month on Wan Chai’s Wing Fung Street, near Star Street. With in­door and out­door seat­ing for 50, it will open at 7am to tar­get early ris­ers and the cor­po­rate crowd. The head chef is Mile Oki, who pre­vi­ously worked at Ar­cane. The cafe will serve break­fast, lunch and din­ner seven days a week—plus the all-im­por­tant week­end brunch. This branch of Ele­phant Grounds in­cludes a bar, which will stay open un­til late on week­ends serv­ing a range of in­no­va­tive al­co­holic bev­er­ages. The bar is man­aged by Manuel Saave­dra, for­merly of Mizu­nara: The Li­brary.
