A heavily pregnant Claudine Ying embraced a fresh, natural look for her cover shoot

hen it comes to getting in front of the camera, Claudine Ying is a veteran. This time, however, she had a new prop that changed the entire experience. Needless to say, Claudine’s baby bump was the star of the show when we took over the Harmony Suite at The Langham, Hong Kong.

To the powerful tunes of Adele, Claudine and photographer Olivier Yoan made magic on, between and under the sheets—in a purely platonic way, of course—to create stunning images that capture the beauty of motherhood. Claudine’s quite easy-going, so when Olivier suggested she channel her inner Demi Moore and don her birthday suit she was entirely on board— although she did ask for a blanket to cover her modesty!

Aside from an array of stylish knitwear, gowns and bodysuits from Ralph Lauren, the star piece of clothing was a vintage jersey bearing the words “Lloyd, World’s Greatest Dad” that fashion editor Justine Lee serendipitously uncovered in a second-hand shop. That didn’t quite make it into the shots but we’re sure it’ll get a good airing back home.
