There’s something about Claudia that makes her a shoo-in for action roles. Right after her film debut in the 2015 chart-topper Avengers: Age of Ultron, Claudia landed the role of warrior princess Khutulun in Netflix’s Marco Polo. Since starting work on the show, she has been really into ju-jitsu. “I love the feeling of enhancing my concentration and physical strength,” she says. The Seoul native, who is the latest face of Bobbi Brown, recommends visiting her city for amazing hair and nail treatments.

Your best beauty trick? To use only bottled water on my face—especially when I’m travelling— to avoid any skin irritation.Favourite city for beauty finds? Seoul really has amazing salons and spas. I’ve been a long-time client at Jenny House, the Primo branch, for hair treatments with stylist Sein Cha.
What is your guilty pleasure? I love dark chocolate. I like to mix coffee beans and 100 per cent dark chocolate into my protein shakes.
What is the most underrated beauty product and why? Sheet face masks. I love them. They’re so convenient for travelling and you can see the results instantly.
Go-to lipstick shade? I’m often into soft sands and corals, but sometimes I’m in the mood for something more fun, like a bright red or purple lip.
Top beauty advice? One of the many useful things my mum taught me was to be aware of my skin tone and to wear the right make-up for it. She always emphasised the basics—hydration and layering moisturisers, which creates glossy, healthy-looking skin just like hers.
